Welcome to MyPublicFit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyPublicFit's website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use MyPublicFit. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to use MyPublicFit only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of all content you upload, paste, or submit, including resumes, job descriptions, and personal information.

You retain ownership of any content you upload, including resumes and job descriptions. By uploading content, you grant MyPublicFit a limited license to use, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. You may not upload unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized content.

MyPublicFit uses artificial intelligence to generate resume analyses, tailored resumes, cover letters, career roadmaps, interview questions, and job recommendations. AI-generated content is for informational and drafting purposes only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

MyPublicFit does not guarantee job placement, interviews, offers, salaries, promotions, or any hiring outcomes. We provide tools and guidance to help you improve your candidacy, but success depends on many factors beyond our control, including employer decisions and market conditions.

Job listings may come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, expired, duplicated, or incomplete. Users are responsible for confirming job requirements, deadlines, salary, eligibility, and application details directly with the employer or agency. MyPublicFit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, utility, employer, job board, or hiring authority unless explicitly stated.

MyPublicFit may offer premium features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases in the future. Payments and subscriptions may be processed through Stripe or another payment processor. All fees will be disclosed clearly before you are charged. You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.

From time to time, we may offer free trials or promotional access to premium features. Free trials may convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Promotional offers are subject to their specific terms and may be discontinued at any time.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or infringing.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated means to scrape, mine, or harvest data from the Service without permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization.

MyPublicFit and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, job boards, and services (such as USAJOBS, Adzuna, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Stripe). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPUBLICFIT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
